In the 4.x Decision Manager documentation, Resource Type (DECISIONTABLE) is mentioned under the Resource Types and Action Types section, whereas in the .ac file (For eg, CreditCardApplication.ac), under folder &ltTIBCO_4.0.1_Home>\be\4.0\rms\examples\CreditCardApplication\config ;
Resource Type RULEFUNCTIONIMPL (&ltresource id="TABLE" type="RULEFUNCTIONIMPL"/>) is mentioned.



Resolution:

RULEFUNCTIONIMPL is the correct way to specify the permission for the Decision table in the .ac file. Also, all authorization and authentication topics are documented in the core doc set, in the TIBCO BusinessEvents Administration guide - because they are core features. The correct 4.0.1 documentation is in the TIBCO BusinessEvents Admin guide chapters on authorization.
