There is a documentation issue referencing the "SWDIR\util\upgr utility" under "Appendix A Troubleshooting" and section "Setup Cannot Run One or More Database Upgrade Scripts" of the TIBCO iProcess™ Engine (SQL Server) Installation guide for Windows. This same issue also exists under "Appendix B Troubleshooting" and section "Setup Cannot Run One or More Database Upgrade Scripts" of the TIBCO iProcess™ Engine (Oracle) for Windows Installation guide for Windows. The "SWDIR\util\upgr" utility is a Unix only utility. In Windows this is built into the InstallShield.

Environment:

   o TIBCO iProcess Engine (all versions)
   o Windows (all variants)
   o Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases

Symptoms:
=========
The SWDIR\util\upgr utility cannot be found on Microsoft Windows TIBCO iProcess Engine installations.

Cause:
=====
The "SWDIR\util\upgr" utility is a Unix only utility. In Windows this is built into the InstallShield.

Resolution:
=========
There is an MR 30630 in place to resolve the documentation issue. However, this has yet to be implemented. The solution is to ignore step four.
