Description:
Connecting to SQL Server DB using domain account. When using DataDirect JDBC
driver, with the option AuthenticationMethod = ntlmjava, a connection can be
established. But when attempting to use the SQL Server driver sqljdbc4.jar, and specify the option
integratedSecurity= true, the Designer crashes.
Symptoms:
When using DataDirect JDBC driver, with the option AuthenticationMethod = ntlmjava, a connection can be established. But when attempting to use the SQL Server driver sqljdbc4.jar, and specify the option integratedSecurity= true, the Designer crashes.
Cause:
Unsupported sqljdbc version.
Resolution
Use SQL Server JDBC Driver 3.0
Put sqljdbc_auth.dll inside the Windows/System32 folder
Put sqljdbc_auth.dll inside the Windows/System32 folder
