Description:

When installing TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for WebSphere MQ v6.2.1 on a 64-bit Linux platform with a network account instead of a local account, the installer displays a question mark "?" for property user.home. So the installer can't find the proper TRA and RV version to finish the installation. This is due to a JDK issue. Details can be found at http://bugs.java.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6972329

Download the 64-bit installer and put it in the unzipped installation package folder. Use the 64-bit installer to install it.This 64-bit installer can be downloaded from the TIBCO Support file transfer server- mft.tibco.com.
Server name: mft.tibco.com
Credentials: use your TSC (TIBCO Support Central website) login.
Browser:  https://mft.tibco.com
FTP: port 21
SFTP: port 22
FTP: Using your browser is not supported. Use an FTP client or command-line.  TIBCO employees must use a secure protocol. 

Once logged on you can find it under:
/AvailableDownloads/UniversalInstaller/2.9.6/TIBCOUniversalInstaller-296v1

A known 32 bit-JVM bug on 64-bit Linux platform

Resolution

Please download the 64 bit installer and put it in the unzipped installation package folder. Use the 64 bit installer to install it.

This 64 bit installer can be downloaded from the TIBCO Support file transfer server- mft.tibco.com.
