Description:
The getComponentOperationStats Hawk method for a node does not give any
data for a mediation component that has a threading policy applied and
is preceded by a Java component.
Symptoms:
The getComponentOperationStats Hawk method for a node does not give any
data for a mediation component that has a threading policy applied and
is preceded by a Java component. Note that the Issue is NOT seen if:
- A threading policy and the virtualize policy or the at least once policy have been applied to the mediation component.
- The mediation component (with threading policy) is preceded by another mediation component.
- The mediation component (with threading policy) is not preceded by any component.
Cause:
This is considered as a product defect. A change request has been logged for this. # HKAM-292.
Resolution
A possible workaround is to add an additional policy onto the affected
mediation components. When the "virtualize" or "at least once" policies
are added, the issue disappears and the statistics are displayed.
