Resolution:
-debug sets the LOG_LEVEL in the configuration object passed for metaspace initialization.
-log_debug set the LOG_FILE_LEVEL configuration option.
-log_debug default 3 (INFO) will affect the level of the log files.
-debug< log_level> default 3 (INFO) affects the level of the console logging.
