In TIBCO BusinessEvents 4.0.1, specifying the JNDI on creation of a JMS connection, the Test Connection function fails in studio .

Symptoms:

When creating a JMS Connection on TIBCO Business Events Studio under SharedResources, after supplying accurate information for the connection name and other required fields, the default connection factory, the Test Connection function fails with the following message dialog:

JMS Connection test failed. Class not found: com.tibco.tibjms.TibjmsConnectionFactory

Resolution:

As a workaround, create a shared JNDI Configuration  to  test  the connection and add  it to a shared JNDI configuration within the JMS Connection shared resource.
