Developers frequently want to install the BusinessConnect BusinessWorks palette on developer machines with installing the entire BusinessConnect product itself.  How to do this?

TIBCO BusinessConnect  5.X.X and 6.X.X all versions

Resolution
==========
With BusinessConnect 5.X, the product installer allows the BusinessWorks palette to be installed as a custom option without having BusinessConnect installed.  Run the installer and select a "Custom" installation. Select the "BusinessWorks palette" only for installation.

With BusinessConnect 6.X, the BW palette is included in the BusinessConnect Services Plugin rather than the BusinessConnect product itself.  Run the installer and select a "Custom" installation. Select the "BusinessWorks palette" only for installation.

NOTE: If a BusinessConnect or BusinessConnect Services plugin hotfix includes a fix for the BW palette, the fix can be installed by unzipping the hotfix file and copying the bcplugin.jar file embedded in the hotfix into the $BW_HOME/plugins/lib/palettes directory (after backing up the existing bcplugin.jar file).
