Description:
Symptoms
========
Adapter crashes when stopped from TIBCO Administrator 5.2.0 on Windows XP if Service Pack 2 is installed for windows OS. The following error will be thrown while adapter crashes.
"adremedy.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close ................... "

This issue will be observed when adapter is deployed from TIBCO Administrator on Windows XP with Service Pack 2.

Unable to stop the adapter using TIBCO Administrator

Cause
=====
The wrap.exe used by the adapter to build the adremedy.exe file does not work as expected when the Service Pack 2 has installed for Windows XP platform.

Resolution
==========
The issue has been addressed in TRA 5.2.1 HF1.
Please follow the below steps-
- Take a backup of existing adremedy.exe file in the location
&ltadapter home>/5.1/bin
- Copy the wrap.exe from &lttibco home>/tra/5.2/hotfix/bin to

&ltadapter home>/5.1/bin
- Rename the wrap.exe to adremedy.exe
- start the adapter using new adremedy.exe.

We plan to incorporate this resolution in the next release/hotfix of the adapter.
