Description:
BWPM displays the error, "JDBC Driver Class" while saving the JDBC Settings under Administration-->Connection-->JDBC settings.
The attachment (Filename: JDBC_setting_Error_bwpm.png) shows the error in red.
Symptoms:
BWPM does not allow, 'save settings', after 'Test connection' is successful and cotinues showing 'processing'. Server.log shows 'Unsupported major.minor version' issue of JRE, i.e., JRE version conflict.
Cause:
JRE version conflict 'Unsupported major.minor version' issue.
Resolution
Point Tomcat reference for JRE to a compatible version of TIBCO JRE through the Tomcat properties setting. Please refer to documentation for compatible version of JRE.
