When two EMS servers have been configured in Fault Tolerant (FT) mode and deployed in TIBCO Administrator, both of them are shown in a “running” state.

Resolution:
------------------
Though TIBCO Administrator shows both EMS instances as running on the home page, you can click on the link for each server instance which will provide more information about that instance including whether it is active or backup.
