Symptoms:

Value of Engine.Log.Dir gets overwritten in the deployed application's TRA file.

Cause:

This is the expected functionality of Administrator.

Resolution:
==========
If dirTrace property needs to be used while deploying the application in Administrator, be aware that Engine.Log.Dir is overwritten in the deployed Application's TRA file. The same holds for Log Configuration's Directory property in the CDD file.
