*** Please note support for TIBCO® Database Drivers Supplement 1.0 was added to TIBCO Adapter for Oracle Applications 5.4.0 on May 24, 2011 and is now the recommended approach to use DataDirect drivers with the adapter and TRA 5.7.1. See LBN1-C4UC40 for further information. However the workaround below (to use DataDirect Drivers from 32-bit TRA 5.6.2) is still supported.

TIBCO (R) Adapter for Oracle Applications 5.4.0 supports 32-bit TRA 5.7.1 using DataDirect JDBC Drivers from 32-bit TRA 5.6.2


Installation Changes:

In order to use DataDirect JDBC Drivers from 32-bit TRA 5.6.2 with TRA 5.7.1, follow the steps below:

1)      Install TRA 5.6.2 32 bit
2)      Install TRA 5.7.1 32 bit
3)      Install Oracle Applications Adapter 5.4
4)      Copy tpcl\5.6\jdbc directory to tpcl\5.7
5)      Test Designer Oracle Applications configuration through DD JDBC.
