Description:
Most of TIBCO products are C/C++ and/or Java based. For C/C++ based TIBCO products, a DST fix for the OS is required. For pure Java based TIBCO applications, a DST fix for the JRE is required. This is especially true if you use TIBCO products that do not include a JRE and require your own installation of a JRE. Some TIBCO products use both C/C++ and Java and therefore it is strongly recommended that you patch both the OS and JRE environments with the appropriate DST fixes.

TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA) is a TIBCO infrastructure product that is used by many other TIBCO products such as BusinessWorks and Adapters. TIBCO TRA bundles JRE. Whilst we do our best to include the most recent update of JRE at the time of each release of TRA, our release cycle might cause us to not include the most recent time zone data. Should this be the case, please consult your JRE vendor and follow their recommendation in order to apply the latest time zone data. Most vendors provide a simple tool to help check and update installed JDK and JRE with the most recent time zone data. We have found this approach to minimize the impact on an existing environment.
