Description

Resolution:
When running MG-ALFA, the "SubTotalTemp Report" generates large amounts of data and traffic. This can cause slowdowns on the Grid as well as out of memory errors on Grid Engines.

If you must use this feature, you may have to increase the Engine's heap. To change this setting, select the Engine tab, click Engine configuration, select an Engine configuration, and in the Engine JVM section, change Maximum Heap (MB).

When you do this, all Engines using this configuration will restart, and allow their heap to grow to the maximum of 256. Keep in mind that you may be running multiple Engines on the same host; ensure you have enough memory available to support the larger heap size.

This applies to pre 6.0 versions of MG-ALFA.
