Description:
There is an issue with TIBCO Business Studio's background validation build hanging (indefinitely). This is caused by having spaces in the SoapOverHttp Binding Endpoint URI definition of the process participant defined as a web service provider.
The workaround is to encode any spaces in the Endpoint URI with %20.
Workaround:
1. In a fresh workspace, prior to importing the project, uncheck the menu option
Project > Build Automatically (this turns Build Automatically Off).
2. Import the project.
3. Go to each participant, and go to Properties View > Shared Resource >
SoapOverHttp transport binding and replace spaces in the EndPoint URI with %20.
4. Save the XPDL (File > Save).
5. Switch Build Automatically back on.
