Resolution:
Please check the following settings while creating an agent, so that it can be run using the ""Run Agent" option in publication/subscription services or can be invoked using the Request-Response Service:

1)In Lotus Administrator&gtConfiguration&gtSecurity tab, check if the user as whom the agent is run has all the required permissions. The username provided in the Runtime-connection tab of the adapter instance will be the user as whom the agent will be executed. This user should be added to fields such as Full Access Administrator,Run Agent etc.

2) In the agent creation window:
a) Enable “Allow restricted operations with full administration Rights”
b) If we select “Action Menu Selection/Agent List Selection” then the target documents should be one among the following:
     i) None
     ii) All Documents in the database
     iii) All new and modified documents
