The be-engine will start up but throw the warning in the "Title" of this article and reports metaspace name conflict. The "Metaspace" name will be the name in the CDD file which is usually the name of the CDD file. The "member_name" may be the IP address of the host or the name of the host. Another error which is reported is, "Failed connecting to [Metaspace:TestBE] due to member name conflict. Trying generated name [XX.XXX.X.XX]"

The be-engine is searching for the name to use for the Metaspace and tries a couple of possibilities before starting.
Resolution:

Add '-n' and specify the name of engine.
