Only the major releases for the supported operating system in the EMS readme file are mentioned. However, we officially support all releases and the corresponding service packs as the major release stated in the readme file, unless an LBN is issued.

E.g.


In the RV 8.1  readme file the following is listed:

Windows
  Note: 64-bit Windows does not support the COM interface.
    XP (x86 and x86-64)
    Server 2003 (x86 and x86-64)
    Server 2008 (x86 and x86-64)
    Vista Business Edition (x86 and x86-64)

.We do not mention Windows server 2008 R2, however both  Windows server 2008 R2 and Windows server 2008 R2 SP1 are supported.
