After upgrading to BW 5.9.0, iPE case operations using the TIBCO BusinessWorks iProcess Pallet return a NullPointerException. "Unable to start case for iProcess procedure
[<procname>]. Exception
[com.tibco.plugin.jdbc.JDBCPluginException] occurred. JDBC plugin
evaluation error: java.lang.NullPointerException" caused by: "JDBC

Symptoms:
Case starting is not possible using BW 5.9.0 with the iProcess Palette.
Cause:
Change in the product introduced in 5.9.0 with JDBC query execution.
Resolution
JIRA BW-13627 addresses this and is fixed in ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.9.2. New installs that will be interacting with iProcess should use ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.9.2 or later.
