Resolution:
By default, bwengine log is created at location
<TIBCO_HOME>/tra/domain/<DOMAIN_NAME>/application/logs
if by any chance the log is not found at the above location, just check the tra file of the bwengine and it should contain a variable named
Engine.Log.Dir
This variable value contains the path of the log file. If it is given as a dot, i.e. '.' then the log file will be created at location
<TIBCO_HOME>/bw/<5.x>
