Resolution:
Deployment can be performed by  either using Appmanage or Administrator GUI.  

AppManage and Administrator GUI have Hawk console built in it. A deployment requests the hawkagent to deploy on the remote machine using the hawkagent on the corresponding machine. Time out for the invocation is determined by the property tra_deploy_timeout  in client tra. 

Corresponding hawk agent then invokes the TRA (TSM) Microagent and invokes deploy method. The response time for the method invocation is determined by tra_deploy_timeout in hawkagent.cfg.
