Resolution:
Yes it is possible to stop polling for the worklist from datapool. For this you need to uncheck the retrive worklist check box on the extended credetials page. Below are the steps to do:
Login to enterprise through UI.
Click on Company profiles link on left pane.
On the Company Profile page click on the "credential" link.
On the Credentials page click on the &ltGLN NUMBER> link under the identity column.
On the  MODIFY CREDENTIAL page, uncheck the "Retrieve Worklist" check box and save it.
