When you try to access the KPSA Web Catalog you got the error HTTP 500.

Environment:

Solaris / Linux

Symptoms:
========
When you try to access the KPSA Web Catalog you get the error HTTP 500. This HTTP error 500 is caused by the error below which occures in the Apache server while using the RewriteEngine command.  

The error message can be found in the error_log which is located in &ltyour runtime>/&ltyour nodename>/KOP/logs/error_log

It looks like:
[Tue Jan 29 17:46:44 2013] [alert] [client 172.27.20.176] /exec/applis/npp04/runtime/nppkpsa/KOP/htdocs/.htaccess: Invalid command 'RewriteEngine', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

Cause:
=====
This is an incompatibility between the RedHat Linux release higher than 5.6 and PHP 4.2 used by the KOP interface in KPSA.

Resolution:
==========
The goal is to implement to install the tgz file that you have in attachment. Find folowing the installation procedure:\

1). Go under your SW_HOME, you have to be at the same level than the distribution directory.

2). tar xzvf &ltyour location>/kopadmin-3.7.0_HF2.tgz

Here are the files installed included in the kopadmin-3.7.0_HF2.tgz

&ltyour SW_HOME>/distrib/kabira/kpsa/kopadmin/styles.php
&ltyour SW_HOME>/distrib/kabira/kpsa/kopadmin/classes.inc
