The following steps are used to create a File Adapter Designer project from an EAR file.

1). Deploy the EAR file in Administrator.

2). While deploying, uncheck the “Start successfully deployed services” checkbox. This way the EAR file only is deployed and the project dat file gets created.

3). Open Designer with an empty project.

4). Click on Import Project-&gtServer Repository.

5). Provide the domain username and password.

6). Click on the “Load Project” button. This will provide the list of projects deployed.

7). Select a recently deployed project.
