Description:
TIBCO Administrator 5.6.0 now supports Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (Enterprise Edition, Standard Edition, and Workgroup Edition) when used as the domain database for database-based domains.

Limitations and Restrictions:

When considering using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 for purposes other than as a domain database, please make sure that the higher level products, such as TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, also support Microsoft SQL Server 2008 for the desired use.

Installation Steps:

There is no change in installation steps when using Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Please use existing documentation for installation steps

Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 with TIBCO Administrator 5.6.0 is predicated on using the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 JDBC Driver 1.2, available at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=C47053EB-3B64-4794-950D-81E1EC91C1BA&displaylang=en (support for the forthcoming Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Driver 2.0 will be validated once this driver is available for general release).
