In EMS 5.0 User’s Guide, LDAP Parameters section, we stated the following:

Note that LDAP parameters, which support a direct connection to an
external LDAP server, are deprecated in TIBCO Enterprise Message
Service release 5.0. LDAP authentication is now available through the
JAAS plugin interface. In a future release, support of the direct LDAP
connection will be removed.

We are withdrawing the deprecation of the build-in basic LDAP support  in EMS. We will continue to support it.
