TIBCO BusinessEvents stores properties with a length greater than 4000 characters as a CLOB in the database. You are able to define the "Max Length" settings for an entity in CDD Cluster override section. The be-jdbcdeploy tool uses those settings to create the database scripts.

NOTE:

In versions before 5.1.1 the "Max Length" settings will be ignored for properties with history enabled (CR BE-17750). This is fixed in TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.1.1).
