Description

Resolution:
The "shed mc" is the number of packet retransmission requests "ignored" from a “lossy” subscriber under re-transmission control. For details on re-transmission control, please refer to section on topic in RV admin guide.  “Shed MC” comes into picture when RV daemon uses -rx-max-loss and -rxc-send-threshold parameters to configure the retransmission control (RXC) feature, which suppresses retransmissions requested by chronically-lossy receivers.
