Description

Resolution:
1. Stop the EMS server on the current node.
2.  Backup your configuration files (.conf) and datastore (.db) from your old machine.
3.  Install  EMS server on the new machine.
4.  Copy the backed up config files (.conf) and the datastore (.db) to appropriate subdirectories on the new EMS server machine.

If you are planning to change the hostname and IP addresss follow the steps above in addition to modifying the tibemsd.conf and routes.conf file to reflect the new IP address/hostname. Similarly, for all the other EMS servers connecting to the new servers via route or fault tolerance, you will have to change the IP address/hostname in the main config file (tibemsd.conf) and routes.conf of all EMS servers connecting to the newly migrated EMS server.
