Testing has shown that in order for InConcert 4.5 to operate under Solaris 7 (nee 2.7), the following patch MUST be installed.  Without it, the InConcert server will fail to start, as will most C++ programs:

There is already a similar patch for 2.6 which is required and in the
current release notes.
