Resolution:
RV 6.x does not have 64-bit libraries for Java 1.4/64bits. To use RV 6.x with Java 1.4, you will need to use 32-bit JVM.
64-bit JNI libraries on HP-UX and Solaris platforms are supported in the 7.1 release (and later) of RV.
