There is a missing step in the "TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Service Grid Release Notes Software Release 2.2.1".
In the section of "Migrating from ActiveMatrix 2.2.0 to 2.2.1" Task B on Page 17, it is mentioned:
"Task B Upgrade the Management Daemon
After installing 2.2.1 on top of 2.2.0, you must run this utility to clear the cache :
1. Change to the directory ENV_HOME/tools/bin/.
tibcommander -f ../../managementdaemon/2.0/bin/MDCacheCleaner.xml
You must perform this step, even if you plan to work with new clusters."
The same steps needs to be performed, but the step is missing in the section of "Migrating from ActiveMatrix 2.0.x/2.1.x to 2.2.1". This missing phrase has created confusion and made the instructions difficult to follow.
