Resolution:
We do not have any tool or procedure to rename a domain.

In fact, it would be more convenient to create a new domain than to change the old domain’s name.
Changing domain name is prone to cause errors and needs almost the same steps as to create a new domain.

Here are the general steps to create a new domain and transfer the data to new domain:

  1. Run AppManage to export all applications.
  2. Run ExportDomainSecurity to export the security settings.
  3. Create a new domain.
  4. Run DomainUtility on all client machines to add them to the domain.
  5. Run ImportDomainSecurity to import the domain security settings to the new domain
  6. Run AppManage to import all applications to the new domain.
