Symptoms
========
An abend S0C2 in S6BIMSC2, HRNIMSC2 or other interface modules may occur after application of HOTFIX 3 fix AP12373. Customers should not apply AP12373 if using the IMS TM interface to access Object Service Broker applications on z/OS. Other interfaces such as TSO, batch, CICS and Native Execution Environments are not affected.


Impact
======
After application of Hotfix 03 PTF AP12373, IMS TM users may not be able to logon successfully to their Object Service Broker applications due to S0C2 abends.


Workaround
==========
Use SMP/E to remove AP12373 from your system. To do this, you can use the APPLY step only (delete the RECEIVE step) of HOTFIX3 S6A3APLY and replace all of the statements following the //SMP.SMPCNTL DD * with:
SET BDY(OSBD50) .                                          
  ACCEPT SELECT ( AP12160 AP12236 AP12181 ) .                
SET BDY(OSBT50) .                                          
  RESTORE SELECT( AP12373 AP12419 AP12372 ) .

Cause
=====
Incorrect z/OS authorization caused a privileged operation exception resulting in a system S0C2 abend during logon processing.

Resolution
==========
Customers using TIBCO Service Gateway for IMS TM 5.0.0 and wishing to apply TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS 5.0.0 Hotfix 03  PTF AP12373 should open a service request with TIBCO Product Support and request the maintenance correcting CR 1-8YXEI9.
