BusinessConnect is rejecting an MDN (Message Disposition Notification) from a trading partner, as evidenced by the following entry from the Interior Server log:

2015 Mar 31 02:37:38:033 GMT -4 BC.BusinessConnect-Interior_Server-A1 Error [bw.logger] BW-EXT-LOG-100000 Job-4159175.4159175 MDN value could not be retrieved for this message due to expired/unrecognized receipt

However, the entry can not be seen in the audit log for diagnosis. How do to retrieve the MDN?
Resolution
Make sure that message logging is enabled under Administrator>BusinessConnect>System Settings>
You can enable message logging and keep the database size down by referring to Appendix A of the "Interior Server Administration Guide" to have your DBA write queries to delete records on a regular basis.
