Resolution:
Yes, the ‘tibrvtkt.smp’ file is a temporary licence ticket containing the default 60 minute licenses that are downloaded with RV.

When the daemon doesn’t find a file named ‘tibrv.tkt’ it will run for 10 minutes without a license, but does not look in ‘tibrvtkt.smp’.  To use the licenses in this temporary file and run RV up to 60 minutes, ‘tibrvtkt.smp’ must be renamed to ‘tibrv.tkt’ or the contents (license keys) copied into the ‘tibrv.tkt’ file.
