Description
Resolution:
This is due to a defect that affects AS 4 as well as AS 5, which could cause the vprintf to hang indefinitely.
For AS v5, the fix is to upgrade to Redhat Linux AS 5.3 and glibc-2.5-34+
For AS v4. the fix is to upgrade to glibc-2.3.4-2.43+.
