TIbco Adapter for Remedy 5.2.0 takes 2-45 minutes to start up on HP-UX platform.

WorkAround:-

The possible work around is:-
1) Create a new Remedy Adapter Configuration panel,
2) Go to Design Time Connection and click on the Test Connection Tab.
3) Once the connection is established, save the project.
4) Create adapter services.
5) For every service, by default, the transport type is RV,change it to JMS directly and fetch the form definition.
6) Save the project.
7) Export the project into a .dat file and point the location of that .dat in adapter .tra file.
8) Start the adapter.

However this workaround is very limited because if the Customer does not have an option to reconfigure his project ,this solution would not work.

Cause:-

The adapter faces a multithreading problem, when reconnected to Remedy application.

This issue is fixed in Hotfix 2 for Remedy adapter version 5.2.0.
