MDM plugin for BW throws the error: TIBCO BW Error for MDM: GEN-7022: Cannot open file 'FILENAME'.
Symptoms:
When using BW plugin for MDM and trying to select a repository, the following error is thrown: "Query and save Metadata error: GEN-7022: Cannot open file 'FILENAME'."
Cause:
The contents of MDM's environment variable MQ_COMMON_DIR has a space in it.
Resolution
Correct the setting of MQ_COMMON_DIR and use a path name without a space or escape the space with a back slash "\".
