Description:
The Timer activity becomes stuck in an infinite loop when the system time changed to Daylight Saving Time (DST).
Symptoms:
Timer triggers repeatedly and becomes stuck in an infinite loop. This leads to the entry "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" in the BW log.
Cause:
This is caused by the following defect:
BW-16684 - The Timer activity went into an infinite loop on the Daylight Saving Time beginning day.
Resolution
This issue has been addressed in TIBCO Businessworks 5.12 , BW 5.11 hotfix-14 and BW 5.10 hotfix-19.
