Symptom:

On replacing the current deployed enterprise archive file(ear) with an updated version the values of the global variables previously set are lost and are reset to their design time values i.e. the value specified in the designer when the ear was generated.
Impact:
---------
This may lead to default values being used by the application. This is true for Administrator 5.4 using TRA 5.5.2.
Workaround:
------------------
Use AppManage to export deployment configuration file for the deployed application and use this xml file for configuring the application and uploading/deploying the new version of the ear.
Resolution:

A hot fix is scheduled to be released as soon as possible, please contact TIBCO Support for any questions or concerns. We would publish another LBN when the TRA HF is made available.
