Resolution:

The FA Subscriber sends client acknowledgements irrespective of whether the Auto-confirm Checkbox is checked or unchecked. Auto-confirm is a Checkbox present in Designer under the location (FileAdapterConfiguration/Advanced/Sessions/DefaultJMSTopicSession/ExitSubscriberJMS) and is an SDK level control. Regardless of whether the Auto-confirm Checkbox is checked or not, if TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files (Unix/Win)(FA) is running, and the Subscriber receives a message after its processing is done, then FA will confirm this message at the FA level.
