Description:
When processing an inbound TEXT message, BusinessConnect (BC) processes the message successfully, but the XML generated by BC does not contain any data.
Symptoms:
In reviewing the inbound transaction in the audit, the transaction is processed successfully and a message is sent to the private process, but the payload only consists of the root element tabs, i.e. <T-LAYOUT></T-LAYOUT> .
Cause:
The inbound delimters for the file are not configured to match the delimiters used in the file.
Resolution
Make sure that the delimiters are set correctly under the Trading Partner TEXT properties Delimiters tab. The values under the Inbound area should match the file.
