Description:
When sending an outbound EDI TEXT document, the destinationFileName field in the INITIATOR.REQUEST message has no effect on the outbound file name. BC sets it to the default settings.
Symptoms:
As described above. In addition, the srcFilename parameter in the FTP scripts value is not set.
Cause:
This is a know issue with the EDI protocol and a change request has been filed.
Resolution
The BC Services Protocol (EZComm) can be used to send the payload with the desired file name.
