Description:
The above APARs have been released by IBM to address an issue with Unicode Sevices in Language Environment.
Symptoms:
Symptoms are largely unpredicatable due to the the layered structure of Language Environmernt.
Cause:
An incorrect bit is being tested by Unicode Services and incorrect actions taken based on the result. The incorrect bit will be set to one on systems IPLed after 15th December 2015. See the IBM APAR for details.
Resolution
Contact IBM and request the fix for the APAR. Review and install before any IPL after 15th December.
