This article specifies how to configure the Webpart for the "Refresh Data" mode of BW SharePoint Plugin at SharePoint server side

Register/Upload TIBCO Webpart in SharePoint 2013:


1). Select the top-level site in the Site Collection to which you would like to add the TIBCO Refresh Data WebPart.


2). Click on Site Settings Option from the pull-down in the right-hand corner.


3). Click on the Web Parts link.


4). Select Files -> New Document -> New


5). Scroll through the page that displays the list of existing webparts


6). At the bottom of this page, locate the webpart that reads: Tibco.SharePointBW.Webparts.TibcoRefreshData2013.TibcoRefreshData2013.


7). Click on the CheckBox for Tibco…..TibcoRefreshData2013 Webpart, Scroll to the top of the page and Click on the button : “Populate Gallery”.


8). This will register/upload the WebPart to the SharePoint Site Collection.


Confirm that the registered/uploaded TIBCO Webpart is available for addition/insertion into a SharePoint Page:


1). Select the top-level site in the Site Collection to which you would like to add the TIBCO Refresh Data WebPart.


2). Click on Site Settings Option from the pull-down in the right-hand corner.


3). Click on the Web Parts link.


4). Scroll through the list of available Web Parts and locate “TibcoRefreshData2013.webpart”


5). This confirms that the WebPart is correctly uploaded and registered for use in a SharePoint List/Page.


Use TIBCO WebPart in a list/page:


1).    Select the list/page you would like to add this web part to.


2).    Click “Edit Page” option from the Settings menu at the right-hand corner.


3).    Click on “Add a Web Part” link.


4).    In the displayed page, scroll down to the bottom of “Categories” Section and Locate “Miscellaneous” and Select it. You will see “TibcoRefreshData2013” listed in the “Parts” section.


5).    Select TibcoRefreshData2013 and Click the Add button.


6).    There is a button added to the list/page that reads: TibcoRefreshData2013.


7).    Click on “Stop Editing” button to return to the list/page view.


Bind the Event Handler in the Refresh Data mode using the Configuration Management Tool:
Steps involved with BW Configuration Management Tool to enable Refresh Data are listed in the user docs.

Create a process with NotificationListener Activity in Refresh Data Mode:
Steps involved with configuring NotificationListener Activity to receive notifications for Refresh Data are listed in the user docs.

Trigger the process by clicking on the Webpart. Once BW configuration Management Tool is configured and the NotificationListener Activity is configured on the plugin to receive Refresh Data Events, clicking on the “Refresh Data from External Application” will trigger the process.
