Resolution:

In BusinessWorks 6.x, when using "group" persistence mode, you can use the same database for different AppSpaces. See https://docs.tibco.com/pub/activematrix_businessworks/6.3.0/doc/html/GUID-CD455560-51BB-4344-BC92-72F639B652001.html for persistence mode.

Each group needs a separate tablespace (not database). Each AppSpace translates into a set of cooperating engines which share the same PVM group. By default, the group name is "Group_<DomainName>_<AppSpaceName>". The EMS server can be shared among AppSpace. There is an ER AMBW-20392 for sharing the same tablespace in BusinessWorks 6.x.
