Resolution

Start the configurator of MDM. The steps to start the configurator are given in MDM sysadmin guide Chapter 1->  Configurator -> Overview -> Starting the Configurator.

Once configurator is up, from the top left left panel (Cluster Outline), select Member 1 and from the bottom left panel ( Configuration Outline) select "All".

1). Browse to Logging, and on right hand panel make  "Root logging Level for MDM Server " to DEBUG. Also ensure the following properties are set:

Logging Level for MDM Server (For DQ package) : DEBUG,elink, error
Logging Level for MDM Server (For HeaderExtractor package) : DEBUG,elink, error
Logging Level for MDM Server (For MASSUPDATEUI package) : DEBUG,elink, error
Logging Level for MDM Server (For MDM package)  :DEBUG,elink, error

See supporting screenshot attached (Filename: rootloggingPoint1.png).

2). Go back to bottom left panel, expand Logging tree where "Standard Log" can be seen. On the right hand panel set "Debug Log Logging Level Threshold" to DEBUG.

See supporting screenshots attached (Filename: thresholdPoint2.png).

When you want to disable DEBUG logs in MDM, follow the outline above changing all above fields from DEBUG to ERROR.
