On AIX 6.1 the following Error is reported:

        0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for /home/tibco/tibcojre64/1.8.0/lib/ppc64/compressedrefs/libj9prt28.so because:
        0509-136   Symbol getsystemcfg (number 164) is not exported from
                   dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a[shr_64.o].
        0509-022 Cannot load module /home/hllee/tibco/tibcojre64/1.8.0/lib/ppc64/compressedrefs/libj9vm28.so.
        0509-026 System error: Cannot run a file that does not have a valid format.
        0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the
                 'dump -Tv' command.
libjvm.so failed to load: j9vm28

Symptoms:
Executable bundled with TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.10.0 does not work on AIX.
Cause:
AIX 6.1/7.1 with Java 8 compatibility.

Resolution

Java SE and IBM WebSphere Real Time minimum AIX support levels.

For AIX 6.1  :Install Technology Level 7 (TL7)  == > 6100-07.
For AIX 7.1 : Install Technology Level 3 (TL3)  ==> 7100-03.
